Latest rumors about Lego franchise point to the fact that the sequel to the 2014’s ” The Lego Moviee” will be released sometime in 2017. Cast of ” The Lego Movie 2″ has yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that the original cast from the movie will return to reprise their roles.

Some other sources also claim that the third movie will also be filmed, and it’s expected to be released in 2019. It is expected that Jared Stern and Michelle Morgan will return as the writers for the movie.

The Lego Movie 2 cast may feature stars such as Chris Pratt, Liam Neeson, Will Ferrel, Elizabeth Bank, Morgan Freeman and Will Arnett.

But we have to get this information with a little dose of reserve, because this is just a rumor and may not indicate that all of them will star in the next movie and reprise their original roles.

Another one in the ocean of the rumors is the one that says that Spiderman may also make a cameo appearance in the movie, alongside with his super hero colleagues, Batman and Wonder Woman. However, there has yet to be any official Lego movie 2 news pertaining to that.

The Lego Movie 2 is supposed to be directed by the joint forces of Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, and Dan Lin and Roy Lee will serve as the producers of the movie. This line up also worked on the original Lego Movie from 2014. The Lego Movie 2 is supposed to hit the big screen on May 2017, so mark your calendars.
