Just some time after the release of this year’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″, Sony has announced the release dates of the third and fourth installments of “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” is meant to be the first chapter in a series of movies featuring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, as evidenced by many plot threads lefts dangling by the film’s conclusion. That’s not to mention, the ambiguous nature of the mid-credits scene and hints of future works .

Sony is already looking forward to the new movies, as the studio officially announced release dates of the third and fourth parts of “The Amazing Spider-Man”. Reportedly, “The Amazing Spider-Man 3″ will be released on June 10th, 2016, while “The Amazing Spider-Man 4″ will hit the big screen on May 4th, 2018.

A couple of years ago, Sony decided to start the franchise over, instead of continuing with the original “Spider-Man” franchise. The reason for that is the conflict about the rising of salaries for the main actors, which includes stars Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst.

But that’s not bad for Sony at all, because Andrew Garfield, and its partner in the movie, Emma Stone done the job incredibly, but unfortunately, Emma Stone will not appear in the third movie, since her character died in the second installment. Timely, Peter’s recovering from Gwen’s death will be the main theme of the movie.

Just like it was the case with the previous installments of “The Amazing Spider-Man”, we should expect that Sony will release the game based on the next istallment of “The Amazing Spider-Man”. We also should expect Fox and WB/DC’s forthcoming wave of superhero movies to compete with Marvel’s “Spider-Man” and other films.
