These days, everybody seems to be looking to get a smartphone, but there still are cheaper handsets around, such as the super cheap Nokia 130. And now it seems that the line of devices has received a new software update.

Since acquiring Nokia’s phone and services division, Microsoft has discontinued the AOSP based Nokia X line up, as well as the Asha series. But it seems that the feature phone segment, where Nokia is still very popular, isn’t going away.

Microsoft has announced the affordable $25 Nokia 130 feature phone back in August, and we can see that it features a super cheap price. The handset is getting a software update which brings a few bug fixes on board.

The new update brings support for the Bulgarian language, as well as a fix for the “contacts not ready” error. Of course, a bunch of other bug fixes and stability improvements have been rolled out, as well.

The device doesn’t support over-the-air updates, so Nokia 130 owners will have to connect their device to their PCs and update it using the Lumia Software Recovery tool.
